Which shots belong in the journal?
Record normal, well-struck shots. Personal bests and obvious mishits distort the average. Several measurements per club gradually produce a more useful picture for course strategy.
Why record carry rather than total distance?
Carry ends at the ball’s first contact with the ground. It is more reliable for comparison because roll changes considerably with turf, slope, wind and moisture.
Where is the journal stored?
The journal uses only this browser’s local storage. Entries are not sent to World of Golf and do not appear on another device. Clearing browser data will also delete the journal.
